How it Works

How do I book a cooking class?
To book an in home cooking class with Gina’s Kitchen Table, please schedule an event here. Once you’ve submitted your information, Gina will follow-up with an estimate or additional questions.

How many people can I invite?
Classes vary in size and curriculum based on your kitchen’s capability to facilitate the group. There is a suggested class size of 6 to 10 students, which provides the “critical mass” needed to enable an entertaining atmosphere while ensuring that everyone gets to participate.

Too few guests, and the level of excitement can wane. Too many, and some people may feel left out. At Gina’s Kitchen Table, we try to get everyone involved!

Will we be cooking or watching you cook?
Classes can be strictly demonstration or fully interactive, depending on kitchen layout, your vision for the group, and their willingness to participate.

Will I get a copy of the recipes?
Definitely. Each guest will receive high quality, full color recipe cards that include all the information they need to recreate the featured recipes in their own kitchens. The cards list the pantry ingredients, fresh groceries, and utensils needed to prepare the selected recipes. Where appropriate, there are “do-ahead tips,” recipe variations, and light versions. There is also a full color photo of the finished dish, plated in professional style.

How much do the in-home cooking classes cost?
Prices vary depending on the exact menu, location, and the number of guests, but most cooking classes are $50 – $65 per person.

Which geographic areas do you serve?
Gina’s Kitchen Table covers Roswell, Alpharetta, and Milton, Georgia.

My kitchen is really small. Will that be a problem?
Cozy kitchens are fun, too! Gina will visit your home to see the kitchen space prior to the event, but she has yet to meet a kitchen that she can’t work with.

How long do the in home cooking classes last?
Most classes last about 2 ½ – 3 hours.

Do you offer cooking classes for kids?
No, Gina’s Kitchen Table does not work with children. As a mother of two, Gina recognizes that her curriculum, menus, and style of teaching are best suited for adults.

What are the responsibilities of the host/hostess?
All you have to do is invite your guests and show up! Gina will shop for the ingredients prior to your event, provide necessary equipment, and clean up afterwards. Gina’s Kitchen Table will even provide postcard invitations for you to send to your guest list, though many clients use electronic invitations (i.e. Evite) for convenience.

Do you offer private dinner parties?
Absolutely. Gina is an experienced personal chef and will work with you to develop a custom menu to be prepared for your guests. She will do all of the behind-the-scenes preparation, cooking and cleaning while you entertain your guests. If you’re interested in a private dinner party, please complete the schedule an event form for an estimate.
